The 407th SCMS is pleased to announce this Communications PIWG and Technical Symposium
to be held at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, GA. on 11 - 13 May 2010.
The primary purpose of this event is to create a forum that brings the DoD users
and maintainer community of both ground and airborne military communication systems
together for information updates and the sharing of field experiences.

• Attendees
|
|
US Air Force, US Army, US Marines the Guards and other support groups are invited
to discuss problems, and share ideas, solutions and experiences. A
List of DOD Attendees is displayed on the website for your convenience. Registered DoD active
and civilian military personnel are invited to submit questions using the Ask a Question
link on the DoD Attendees menu.

• DoD Registration
|
|
Registration and Attendance to this event is primarily intended for all active and
civilian military personnel involved with or have interaction with the DoD communication
community and all supporting systems. Conference ID/Name tags will be created for all registrants and will be available for pick-up
on opening morning. Conference ID tags are required for attending all conference
meetings. DoD registration to the event is FREE and is accomplished through this
website. Military groups wishing to be an exhibitor must also register through the Exhibitor Registration Page.

• Speakers
|
|
A select group of speakers will present program overviews, updates and goals. Hear
from Group, Squadron, and Flight leaders. Briefing materials will be included in
a CD Handout provided to all registered attendees on opening morning. Speakers Note:
Presentation materials must be received by the 407 SCMS no later than 14 April 2010.

|
• Breakout Sessions
|
|
Breakout sessions will be conducted to provide an opportunity for users, maintainers
and program personnel of specific systems to address a variety of program and technical
issues. Additional meeting rooms will be made available (on a space available basis)
to schedule breakout sessions as necessary. See the Event Coordinator at the Host
table to schedule your room.

• Conference Agenda
|
|
The Conference Agenda identifies and displays times
for all Ground and Airborne sessions that occur during the PIWG event. The agenda
may display preliminary information but will undergo refinement through the month
of April. Updates will occur until complete at which time the title will change
from Preliminary to Final.

|
|
• Exhibitors
|
|
Industry Suppliers/ Vendors of communication systems and equipment will display the newest in
communication gear, or engineering , test and repair capabilities. DoD personnel are encouraged
to visit each of these businesses to discuss needs, problems and view their exciting products.
An outdoor exhibit area is provided for businesses wanting to show-off their new and impressive
larger equipment. Get a sample of the companies capabilities when they are given an opportunity
to present a brief summary of their products and services on opening day of the event.

• Accommodations and Directions
|
|
A continental breakfast, afternoon snacks and beverages are provided each day. A snack
bar located in the exhibit hall will be available to purchase a variety of lunch
items and drinks. The website provides links to local hotels, directions to the
conference and area information. Hotels offering special event rates are promoted
on the website. Free Wireless Internet is provided.
